Brea joined DEI in 2019 and immediately rolled up her sleeves to support the work in our Center for Shellfish Production and Research. She is an integral part of a team that produces juvenile shellfish for public stock enhancement, aquaculture development, and research support.
Brea is a graduate of the University of Maine and has a degree in Ecology and Environmental Sciences. While a student, Brea’s capstone research experience included laboratory skills, data collection and management techniques related to the physiology of blue mussels. She is originally from Voluntown, Connecticut.
