We can look at data from the Clam Recruitment Monitoring Network to begin examining potential trends around green crab densities and size across the state of Maine.

The below map shows average densities of green crabs found inside our 16 Beal boxes at each of our monitoring sites. We have two intertidal monitoring sites in each town, with the exception of Edmunds, where we have three sites.
